His apartment could not hold everything so alternate storage arrangements had to made. The delivery was at three locations.

This called for extensive planning and organisation.

Packing was done whenever the shipper was available in Singapore. We removed the packed stuff to the storage facility from time to time. This made the apartment habitable for the entire duration of packing much to the client’s delight.

The results of this home shift

The items moved to the warehouse were loaded into separate lift vans based on which of the three locations it need to be shipped.

On arrival in Mumbai, the customs duty assessed was paid upfront and the shipment was moved to a temperature-controlled facility for onward dispatch.

The lift vans were packed on a first-in last-out basis to facilitate smooth retrieval and assembly at the destination.

At the end of it all, a happy client with a home shifting story to tell.
