International Moving Customer Case Study

This is the story of many, if not all expatriates, who relocate to their home country when they complete their tenure abroad.

Our customer completes his tenure in Korea and decides to return to India. As he was returning from a foreign country, he had concerns about the import documents, customs clearance process, and the duties that were applicable on his shipment.

He decides to take professional help. He consults with Writer Relocations through the booking agent in Korea. We address his concerns and he chooses to move with Writer Relocations.

A home shift made smooth

Our customer's concerns were addressed by the import advisory at Writer Relocations.

This covers documentation required by the customer, list of prohibited and restricted items, and the percentage of duty applicable.

He was also advised on the time required for clearance of the shipment by sea.

The results of the relocation

Within just 4hrs of its arrival at the Bangalore terminal, the shipment formalities related to export and physical inspection were covered.

Custom clearance procedures for the shipment and the applicable duty was transparent.

The shipment after complying with the formality was delivered within 5 working days.

Was amazed by the teamwork and enthusiasm shown by your employees. Even when it came to shifting a difficult bit of furniture (a large antique wooden cupboard), despite the struggle they did not give up and somehow managed to safely transport it to the destination. And when branches of trees were getting cut due to the passage of the big lorry, they stopped the vehicle some distance from the house and willingly carried all the furniture into the building. Their sensitivity and courtesy came as a pleasant surprise and the whole shifting went off extremely smoothly. Kudos to Mr Senthil and team!
