How to move antiques from 7 countries for an exhibition and then move it back.

For the South East Asia Buddhist Festival, the challenge for Writer Relocations was to move precious artifacts and antiques from 7 countries into India

The ensemble was priceless. Many of the items were fragile and demanded the utmost care and attention while packing, transporting, unpacking, and re-assembling at the exhibition.

Writer Relocations carried out this end-to-end art and antique shifting with aplomb. The moves were spread across 7 countries - India, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, and China.

What this art shift entailed

  • manage pre-shipment documentation
  • procure import licenses
  • process documents with customs
  • assess duties
  • organise inspection by customs and clearance
  • store the precious articles at our warehouse
  • install the antiques at the site

The important compliance we had to agree was to re-export each of the antiques back to where it originated.

With 63 years of experience in moving art and antiques, Writer Relocations succeeded in pulling of the move with flair.
